3DHS and ExtremeFlightRC to merge?

After Sleep's post #20, he did actually close the this thread for a short time and then it was re-opened.

3DHS and EF are both great companies but I think their product portfolio and operating strategy tends to target a slightly different consumer/pilot. I'm not sure there is anything so unique that couldn't be duplicated by either company if they wanted to go the time and effort.

- The thread was never posted on the home page or promoted in the normal fashions (Facebook, Twitter...) It was intended for our GSN core group of guys.

- The info was not an unsubstantiated rumor, it was information sent to me by MANY people. I would never roll with something I heard once from someone who did not have credentials to know about such a topic...


But again, you are still here posting, I appreciate everyones opinion.
Finally, NOTHING was said derogatory (except by you) so no matter what the outcome, I don't see any problems.

If I were Hinson, I wouldn't allow it.

Sure, 3DHS brings alot of airplanes out, but when EF brings 1 out, you gotta wait to get one. Can't say that that is a bad thing or not. Or would that just be the man wanting the best product out there without sacrificing quality?
