FHSS and FASST

Can someone tell me if the FASST and FHSS systems are compatible.

I have to send in my 8FG super (FASST) in for repair and I may be able to get a 10J (FHSS) as a back up so I don't lose a month of flying. If they are compatable does the 10J have a sd card slot so I could copy my models to it while the 8FG is in the shop.

No they are not compatible.

The protocols are close, but not close enough. FASST has error detection and correction, while FHSS does not have error detection or error correction.

I doubt you'll lose a month of flying Randy. They are pretty good at turning stuff around these days.
