I flew it today and it fly's awesome. I will be painting the bottom black I think. even with the blaze orange I put on it when you're way up there it all blended in and was hard to tell what way was what.

My opinion on the plane. Worth every bit of the $140 price tag. It is a bit heavy but it signaled lift really well and was easy to keep it in a thermal once you found it. My opinion is it could stand to have a little more power for climb out as it can't keep a steep climb angle like a DLG but its adequate. I only flew it once today but I ran the motor for a 10 second climb and killed power. Kept it in the air for 10 minutes after that only coming down because the sun came out and I didn't have sun glasses on.
There were several gliders at our field yesterday and the ones with the solid black bottom were definitely easier to see.

Yeah my DLG is all black on the bottom minus a large orange patch on one wing and an orange pinstripe on the LE and I can see it really well. I have had people tell me the pinstripe on the front is a waste but I can promise you when the plane is a ways out and your flying towards yourself that wing is thin and will disappear in a heartbeat. That orange stripe keeps it from happening.

Well the plane is done just waiting for a spinner to show up and then the maiden.

Been scratching my head to try and get the best pod setup for my flitz2. Man every decision was a compromise, so I ended up side by side which allowed a larger 1000mAh 1S battery with the option of a smaller 650 1S and the Rx up front sitting on top of the battery. The compromise is there is minimal servo arm deflection 4.5mm to be exact instead of 6mm. I’ve seen several with a similar setup, just hoping it works out ok. I’m so used to large throws this is a head banger for me. Just no room in the pod!

What happens if you turn the servos at 180 from one another and the arms facing inward.

Stick with the 650 unless you need the 1000 for balance. You can fly a long time off of the 650. Dlg setup is certainly a compromise and the Flitz series in particular has a very tight pod. I just ordered some new KST X08’s to install in mine as the JR’s in the pod are noisy as hell

seems what I’ve been reading is to get to 68-70mm CG people are adding a bit of weight in the nose.
With this setup I can use either battery.

the MKS 75s are quiet as a mouse.
