The door is all made up, what a pain to build it trying to get the door to match the curvature of the wing but got it done. It looks Correct when on the wing. Decided that I will use only one access door on the left wing I think I can make everything work using one compartment. The door will use four small cobalt magnets and no screws so that it is easy to open it at the field for charging and turning it on and off , on switches. Saved a tiny bit of weight again keep trying.

Is lateral balance a concern?

Don’t think so. It’s a profile plane and the engine is bolted on its side with the head sticking out on the righthand side, and the exhaust. But I am not sure this is my first 20cc profile gas build so time will tell. The only person that could have that answer would be @BalsaDust. He has built a number of profile planes.

Just a picture of the hatch, took a full day to build and fit the wing curvature.

Thought I would install all the mounting blocks while it is a little more accessible. Looks like it all fits ok IBec, receiver, remote and battery pack think I have everything I need to power the plane.
