You guys hear that DRACO did a ground loop on a crosswind takeoff? Wings busted, gear folded, and props ground off. Everyone was okay. Mike had his wife (who broke a nail in the process ha ha), and a friend on board. I am glad to hear how humble we was about the whole incident and used his pilot error to educate people on his recent video about what happened and how he could have prevented it. What a cool dude, just gained a lot more respect for the guy. Truly an innovator and genuine person.

Holy smokes that sucks. So glad nobody got hurt. Huge props to Mike for stepping up and taking full responsibility. I know a lot of R/C pilots that could learn a thing or two from his example.

For Real! He took responsibility was very honest about what happened. Feel bad for the guy, but to see the support he has (even from his wife!) gives me faith in humanity again.
Yup, many folks find it easy to blame others and other things for their mistakes. It's easy to do, and unfortunately gets the best of all of us from time to time. I'm glad to see Mike setting himself up as an example for others in the aviation community. It's hard enough to post stuff on social media with the FAA and folks that are less than supportive and would rather not allow people such as him to share and be innovative in aviation. I'd buy him a beer no doubt, he has my respect!

Well boys looks like my flying season is over. It is getting cold the temperature has been around 32 Fahrenheit for last 5 days, and snow is predicted for next couple of days. So it is time to cleanup the last couple of planes for the winter. My flying season is over.

You are correct in about month I will need to get my winter plane ready to fly. The only thing is last winter all ready but we never got the opportunity to do some winter flying. Not enough snow and it was really cold but very windy all winter. Winter flying is great but all the conditions need to be right which does not happen often. Cold, clear, very little to no wind
