How is that possible they make a spinner that will not fit a prop they make. Be interesting to see how they answer you.

Right? I wonder why I have to grind away at it to fit my props too. I wish they provided a template for what prop your using.
This is the same spinner I used for my 73” laser w/da35.
I’m looking into the miracle center bolt spinners or a carbon center bolt spinner.

I think they will be the ones I run with to start out. I wish they made them 8.5, 8.75 or 9.0 !! Who knows what could take place with the Timber Bush planes hitting the scene ??

Maybe one day! 8" is a pretty good size, and superior to those OEM wheels.

Made the other half of my MPX connectors. I must have deleted my photos of the finished product.

I like the Hanson hobbies wire, easy to work with and crimps nice. I’m using the blue for the left and green for the right. Also made the elevator wire extensions.

Glued a ply tray near the glider servo slot for my receiver. Created a model in my 18SZ, linked the receiver.... I am getting close!! Need to make may throttle linkage and finalize my servo setups.

I read on another forum that the 55RA flown hard with nine flights with wing struts the fuse structure was hurting, recommended to add tristock to the existing frame members. Even the tubular aluminum pins did not hold in a wing rotation pin and canopy pins (fell out), so make sure they are glued in well or replace with carbon/wood/delrin.

Why would you replace the aluminum pin with a wood pin. The aluminum is better and stronger. Or am I missing something. Good info on the plane thanks for that will take a look at the plane or at least make some notes so I don’t forget.

Weather was not good again so did a little work in the shop. Made a start on the new E-Power motor box. And did a little reinforcement as AKNick has made us aware of some of the weaknesses in the plane.
Added the same block as AKNick and another triangle at base of the window.
