Found a good way to support the wires on the ignition.

Added a grommet in the tunnel cover, ignition power on the right side through the floorboard and the hall sensor wire on the left and through the engine box.

A little copper ultra for the muffler and beat into submission with some nordlocks.

Nothing like drilling a new prop....
Falcon 23x8, DA drill fixture and a drill press.

We’ll shoot.... no way this pretty falcon spinner is fitting this falcon prop. Darn.

Made a little choke arm guide with G10 board to come out to the cowl ear with the supplied throttle linkage. We’ll see how that holds up...

Got a lot done today.

I have a bunch of wiring left to do, routing, throttle linkage, and battery/receiver. placement. Need to investigate my spinner options again.
So this was the best time to check the CG, and check the weight. My calculations put this beast at 19.6lbs. Horizon says it’s 17-19, but with the optional gear and bush tires I’m really liking this number! Knowing this is without fuel and some wires.

To my surprise it balances almost perfectly on the tube as it is now! Which is about 4” back from the leading edge and is recommended for STOL flying.

Looking good not much more to do. Really like the colour scheme and it looks like quite a big plane. Your CG came out pretty close for you looks like no dead weight will be required.
What happened to the spinner.

Spent some in the workshop. With an EP setup no matter how I go through the number the absolute maximum time theoretical is 7 1/2 minutes which we all know will end up being 6 minute flight time at best if you want to end with something left in the batteries.
Looked at the wheels that came with the kit not impressed will have to find something else. Little better quality and look better.
