Thanks for that if I can turn it into opening that works as an opening for air flow, that will be great. Just have to make sure that the cowl ring does not block it off . Will have to tackle this soon keep looking at it. Thanks for the suggestion.

The rudder is area is done all filled in and sanded. And the Tailwheel is also installed and looks good.

On to the canopy. Cannot believe I am still working on it. It looks likely that I may even get the canopy built before summer season gets on the way. Need to plan how the structure will be and how it’s going to be held in place. Looks like not much left to build for next winter. Will have to find a project, kits are so hard to find.
What I really need to find is the smallest plane that will fit a DA150, even if we are pushing the limits on motor size. The reason is that I need a new vehicle soon and I would rather not buy another new minivan again looking at the new 3 row SUV.

Have a question thinking of buying a DA120 for the Extra 330 sometime down the road . But was thinking of using this 1 inch extension to mont the motor to the firewall. Never used one before has any one used one and what are your options.

We're on our second Chevy Traverse, more room behind the 3rd row than any of the other mid size SUV's. Seats are easy to put up and down also. :way_to_go:

I would give it some time to ensure it works as well as they think it does.
But this beauty has been on my mind for quite some time. I will give it until we see what the FAA is going to do to us, if we stay relatively as we are I will get it.
