Don’t get me wrong I am not a styrofoam fan but was hoping that it would get more into the hobby or started and then migrate into building and bigger stuff but from my perspective it does not seem to be happening.

Sad but true. I was looking at the motion RC F-22 and I could not wrap my brain around spending close to $600 on a piece of foam. What are they thinking?!

Welcome @knpjdad,

Glad you joined us. I'm another of the 50-60 group, but I didn't start flying until about 2001 or 2002.

Awesome bunch of guys here, that's for sure. . . :yesss:. Don't be shy about popping into any of the threads here and sharing your knowledge and ways of doing things. We all do it and it's great fun snd a great way to learn. . . . :big_yes:. So, what kind of giant scale planes do you have?

Finishing up a home made plane that was a merge of a Sukhoi and a Yak. Interesting project with a really large fuse and 101" Wing span. Sheeted ready for covering and hardware.

Also flying a Pilot Dolphine Jet with a KingTech 140 in that, and a 33% Waco. And anything else I can get my hands on! :)
