I like 'em "BIG"!
I am not quite up you and the Stang but getting there slowly. Must say over last 3 years were I thought that 50cc was as big as would ever go and the last season I flew my DA150 all summer and flew hard, and enjoyed it. I can remember my first Saito 150 when I first started it really scared me then. Now look at what I am flying and playing with.
Yup...its too late for you now too Snoops. The venom is now coursing through your veins. It is being pumped to every organ of your body. And much faster than you realize, it will take over your brain, which will automatically become dependent and rewire its neurological network of nerves. Your heart will begin pounding harder...harder... every time you see a new airplane. A new engine. A new servo... even a new designed wiring harness. Even the glance of a new style of fuel tank, a new released power switch will have your eyes bugging from your head. You will get cold sweats when someone fires up a new maiden at your field. Your eyes will not be able to move from the fresh new blood on the runway. Your breathing will become labored with each visit to the hobby shop. Your arms, your hands...your fingers will not respond to the resistance you attempt when online. They will automatically take over. You will have no control. Shortly after the effect takes its toll, you will be buying elaborate and exotic and gorgeous engines that will have you on pins and needles until the moment they arrive. Days later, the things your fingers pushed the "BUY IT NOW" button on, will start arriving. Your legs will be racing you so fast to the door, you will wonder what instant energy of youth pill was slipped in your honey bun to give you such a youthful gate. You will be panting and breathing hard and drooling at the corners of your mouth as you "SNATCH" the prestigious packages from the delivery carrier. You will giggle with a hideous insane laugh as you run to your "man cave" to begin tearing at the packages like a rabid animal. Carnivorously ripping into the plastic while your lips are dripping and your tongue is swollen and hanging out. Oh yeah... you got it. And there is no turning back. No pill and no injection will cure you. It's just simply too late Snoops.

ENJOY YOUR DISEASE. I DO!!!

Very cool!

I myself am a huge fan of the P-40B. I love the clean look of the nose.

So, who wants to see a Don Smith 1/4 scale P51 Mustang? I sure do! I got a few things organized this evening so that I could get started on the DS Mustang. I am still focusing on the Velox. But I have to admit, the excitement is growing rapidly. So much so that I just had to pull the big Mustang out of the box and take a look at her.

First came the unpacking her and laying out the parts...

Once the tough part of getting rid of all the shredded newspaper was taken care of, I got all the parts and pieces set aside for inspection...

Ok, I know she don't look like much right now. But I am sure a few hours on Sunday afternoon with a bottle or 93 of glue and she will look just like her full scale counterpart. It appears that other than two pieces of balsa sheeting being slightly damaged on the edges, everything looks to be in tact and looks really great.

In the next couple of days I will get more work done on the Velox and maybe start laying out some of the fuse of the Behemoth Stang. Christmas is coming and I would like to at least have a start on the Big Mustang. Stay tuned everyone.
