Umm, I gotz news for you. With a 50cc up front of a 12 pound plane, you won't be "flying" it. You will simply be "guiding" the path of the renegade runaway DA. LOL :lol2:

You could be correct, it is built very light. It is not a plane that I would bo full throttle snap roll with. Do not think it wold survive it. Like I said it is built for slow 3D hang on the prop with very little effort and can get out of trouble.

I do full power knife-edge snaps all the time with my pilot Edge. You should be able to do the same. LOL

Need some help please. My flying buddy just let me borrow a receiver to setup my plane. It is Spectrum AR8010 T. What I need to know see picture. The little red and black wire with a very small plug on one end and bare wires on the other end what is it for. And on the receiver there is a slot for SRXL what is that for. On both items there is nothing explaining either one. Can you explain what they are used for thanks.

Is there a port for the red/black wire on the rx? Pretty sure that's for flight pack voltage information..

SRXL is Spektrums version of S.Bus.

Thanks for that ok S.Bus port. The red and black can plug into I believe 7 locations. But of the 7 three are for satellites.
But if you look at the receiver it has XBus port on the side.

Tanner pretty much nailed it. The red / black lead with micro jst connector is for monitoring your "fuel cell battery" that powers the ESC and motor. If the esc has a bec or a separate rx pack used the rx will also show that voltage. You wont need it.

Started fixing up the Edge. Got the canopy hatch re done like a real gasser and not that blasted latch that hangs up and fails. Did not have any 3mm blind nuts so I "encapsulated" a plated 3mm hex nut. Worked great.

Going to re hinge the ailerons next.
