The HS-225 mini servo showed up yesterday and I just got it in the plane tonight. Made new choke and throttle push rods with ball links on the carb side and clevis on the servo side. Trial fitted the wing too a bit earlier today. Fits perfectly. Thumb screws went right in. All repair work except for cutting a new wind screen is done :).

That cub is really starting to look good man you will be ready to fly within the next week. And not to many test flights.

Still have a bunch to do with the detailing of the cabin and getting the LG, bungee foils and wing struts painted. Also have some fiber glassing to do on the cowl and install the back left cylinder lifter tubes (missing). I also have some engine louvers that will keep that nice Continental engine @acerc did running cool. And I got to get that engine running to boot o_O . It's going to be a bit.
I promised a maiden video and will keep my word but again......Taking it in as I go slow. I'm really enjoying the make over but I have to tell ya there was a lot of detail done by the builder. I'm also working on the fuel tank situation. Going to re-plumb it and mount it on it's side so it is pretty much centered behind the fire wall but not interfere with the engine servos. This will help with the scale interior.

Went to the doctors this morning, have a bad ear infection, high blood pressure and bursitis in my shoulder, so didn't get much done, but some progress.

Well it is happening again tried to phone the shop that always supplied me all my balsa wood and he no longer is in business. Found out that he closed shop last fall. That’s not good and on top of that there was another supplier about 2 hour drive from me and he is also closed shop. It is getting hard to buy balsa around here in Canada. Planning to build a wing but cannot get my hands on any balsa will have start looking South. That is painful when the exchange is 1.35 it makes things expensive and on top of that shipping across the boarder plus tax. Going to have rethink this .

The dashboard on the plane really looks real.

Did you see my pm with the CNC guys info. If you go the route of him cutting stuff you can order from SIG or somewhere like that and have it shipped to him.
