I like 'em "BIG"!
I have sent him an email today explaining what happened. Hopefully he responds, will keep you informed. What did he do for you.
He promptly refunded the cost of the White paint, in which I went to..(believe it or not), to our local Home Depot...matched the color of white I needed and purchased a can. I think it cost me like 4 bucks with tax. It turned out really nice. But I had to be "really" careful when I clear coated the red and the purple. The white already had a clear base mixed in it. The clear required with Wings West paint will eat any other paint. I had to mask off the white completely. Once the red and purple was cleared, I removed all the masking paper. So far both the red and purple as well as the white have held up really well. No blemishes and no problems with the paint.

I was working on finishing up the rudder cables last night. I was crimping with a needle nose pliers and did something very stupid. I even checked which part of the pliers I was using and still cut the whole cable instead of crimping... so now am waiting for some Amazon Prime ordered fishing line and crimping tubes along with the new mufflers... whoops!

Get you some Seacraft tensioners. Go real nice on that real nice ARS.

See what ya mean. Not a "necessary" item. They do make setting up the pull pull with a centered rudder servo a bit more easy and give better protection from a broken cable at the "load point" by making two load points. One at the dual set screw keepers and one where the cable wraps back through. I have had "standard" ball link tensioners actually cut through the cable.

Anybody know what the manufacture of this 1m DLG is?? It's a 4ch foam core and glassed wing and tail. Carbon boom, and a plastic pod. I bought it at a swap meet in Washington, owner wasn't there, but his friend sold it for him. Been itching to put it together but to be frank I don't know much about this type of construction and really want to do it right. Thanks
