Our weather today was even better than yesterday. I think I can say it was the best weather day I can ever remember at the field. I flew my Pilot Edge and my buddy flew his Carf Extra 330SC. He also brought his Stinger 90 EDF jet and we took turns and each put 4 flights on it. That thing is a blast. I also spent some time helping one of the older members that was having problems getting some little China gasser started in a pretty little Waco biplane, and one of the newer members with a little Saito gasser. I got them both squared away and flying. My good deed for the day.:)

My GP61 in the Edge ran great! It nice to have good power now, it's like a different airplane.:dancing-chicken:

I'm really tired after a great day of weather, flying, friends and fun.:)

That's AWESOME Buddy5303. The only regret I have about this great hobby is not getting into it until I was in my late 30's.

I have that same one didn't start flying till I was 29. He has us beat by a few years he is flying solo at age 7. He spent the last 20 minutes flying touch and goes all be himself.

Yes it is. People like you are what makes this hobby so incredible. I have never been to another flying field where I didn't see someone helping out another flyer when needed. Makes me proud to say I am apart of this great hobby.

I try and do what I can, but I also don't stick my nose in unless they ask or I can see they are really struggling. I try not to butt in unless I'm sure I can help and I think they are someone that can be helped.
One of my buddies had a Byron Mig 15 ducted fan many years ago and was tuning it when another guy in his club decided to butt in uninvited and stuck his hand in to tune on it and stuck it right in the fan. One of his digits went right out the tailpipe.:face-palm:

I'm also always amazed when someone goes for advice to someone who's airplane quits every other flight, and has crashed more airplanes this year, than most guys have since they started flying. Really?

Had our last IMAC contest this weekend in Hillsdale, KS. Could not have asked for more perfect weather, upper 60's to low 70's and less than 10 mph winds all weekend! Had 23 registered pilots also! Mr. Mike Karnes was there to help with the judging and hand out the regional points trophies.
