My son and I got out today to maiden his new Pilot 35% Extra 330sc with the BE 124 up front. What a gorgeous plane. And that 124 just yanked that plane around like it was nothing. We're going to do a repeat tomorrow morning. (I think he likes the plane and engine):yesss:

Of course I just couldn't resist beating the snot out of my 124 powered Pilot Purple People Eater. 107" Pilot Edge. Put four really good flights on it today. 2 flips choked, 1 flip unchoked, blast off, proceed with beating. LOL

Rolled out early today to beat the heat. Funny how by the time you get everything setup and flip the prop the heat is quickly rising. It hit 97 just before the storm and hale showed up. Set a new record for repacking the Flex, but I did get four flights in before the monsoon put everything under water.

Well spent the day at the field and getting everything ready for the FunFly tomorrow. There has to be a lawn mower devil. That dam mower never stars when you really need it to work when you have a lot do. But anyway it is all done and the facility is ready for the FunFly tomorrow. Don't mind doing it, but what gets my goat is the person that does not show up to help always complains.

I've taken on the field co-ordinator job at our club and can sympathize but in reality everyone seems to be very appreciative of the effort so far. When I took on the job I made up my mind to do the best job I can, develop a thick skin and assumed the attitude that "I will listen to suggestions and complaints of only those who have had their A** in the mower seat or otherwise contribute to field maintenance".

That attitude has made my summer much more enjoyable - I think you will find that the vast majority of members really appreciate your efforts. I didn't really want the job and will gladly give it up to anyone who wants to step in but that line-up is pretty short at the moment. ;)

There is a nice fella at our club who keeps the grounds manicured to perfection. Really need to post a pick of his work.
He makes the parking lot and runway alike gleam! Personally my mother complained about me and my attitude about cutting grass when I was a kid. In that respect I'm still a kid lol I won't plant my butt in a HOT chair on a HOT day but I sure will "destroy" the grass with a lawnmower on a cool day! I also cook cheeseburgers and wings for the fellas. I be much better at that!

Flying IMAC today. I just completed my first round and it is quite evident I was a little nervous and a touch shaky. (Stepping into the unknown is spooky) I have however drawn an initial conclusion to this IMAC stuff. "It's for the birds as far as I'm concerned!". Big birds with bodacious engines up front doing the graceful sky dance routine. Me likey!:yesss:
