Eric Williams - Current District II Vice President (NY, NJ, & Europe)
Lawrence Tougas - Current District X VP (CA, NV, UT, AZ, & HI)

Well, all due respect to Frank, but I cannot think of anyone who has done more for the AMA and our hobby than Rich Hanson. On top of that Rich knows the ins and outs of the EC and headquarters staff, and is a known quantity to the FAA and Congress. Like I said, I simply cannot imagine who is better suited to lead the AMA than Rich Hanson!!

He is a District VP back east. Seems like a good guy, but Rich is still "My Guy" in this election.

Unfortunately, Rich Hanson has been very much pro-drones in the the AMA! He was Bob Brown's style AMA's mouth piece at all the hearings.....and that will not get a lot of our votes.
Frank Tiano has clearly stated he would pursue a separation of Drones from AMA, to return it to traditional model aviation.
In contrast, Lawrence Tougas wrote :"Elect me and I will conduct a review of our plan" which is a very timid stance on this issue: Lawrence's post can be seen here on Facebook:

Herve you hit nail on the head, hanson is VERY pro drone. I think not sure, still trying to find information, but the williams fella is making $$$ off the drone industry, and is pro drone. This leave Tougas, and Mr. Frank, does anyone know how Tougas voted to allow the drones in? I posted a link to a video, with hanson going on about how we were a minority that didn't want the drones in. I can't for the life of me find it now. It was youtube, an they were drone racing. I thought I posted it here but can't find it, search SUCKS
