Extreme Flights New Motor

Damn I'm hungry
Me too! Bigger electrics is something that "lures" me to having more big boxes in the shop! Ok Gas does too. I guess I just like having BIG boxes in the shop :D. Extreme Flight Owners Club on FB has good info directly from Chris Henson.

Well originally I was going to go with the Hacker Q80-6L motor... That motor would of made this bird truly Extreme, maybe even a bit to extreme. "Probably Not" HeHe. Anyway, like everyone else I really don't like the price of the hacker motors they are just so dang spendy. So I started looking around for an alternative, long story short I started talking with Tim at NorthWestRC and he convinced me to wait it out for the XPWR 60 and provided me with a link to a YouTube video of it being tested on the 91" Yak54-EXP I was impressed how well it thew that plane around with such ease and the punch out from a hoover and how cool it ran. Come to find out Tim is going to be running this motor in his 94 MXS when I found that out it pretty much sold me on it. All I had to do was to wait and see how much they would sell for ($349.95) when I saw that it locked it in for me. So I'll be running that motor with the CC-Phoenix EDGE 160 HV and Falcon Carbon Fiber 24x10 - 24x13 props. Should be quite a nice plane.

Comon, lets be different and allow links. It would be so much cooler if this forum could be different and free.

True but RCGroups is a fanboy site, it's ok if you want to stroke each other's ego about a few products and bag out other products but mention the wrong product you are toast. FG is ok, they are a little set in their ways but it is full of pretty good information.
