NEW AEROBEEZ 78" Slick 540!!!

I thought an electric was built a little different. The motor box and a few other things I thought were modified to lighten it up a bit. At any rate Im thinking a Hacker A60 18L and a Mezon 90 RPM should be good to go. What do you think?

Electric are built different. But most gassers are fairly easy to convert to electric, basically some custom made motor standoffs is all you really need, well that and an appropriate power system of course.

I'm more interested in the new Extra, I was thinking MF 4330 on 12S.

I was thinking the same motor since I have one on hand. Aerobeez has figured out how to lighten the airframes while keeping them stupid strong with all of the carbon laminate so an electric system is totally possible. If they can shove a big DA50 on the nose then the A16-18L should work awesome on 12S.

Yeah man thats what I was thinking. Hey man hows it going with your Banshee, where you at on that?

Engine is coming back to me so that's taken care of. We just need to get some new fuselage and accompanying components and we'll be back to 100%.

Wait a sec here....What new Extra? Link please...

Check the Aerobeez Facebook page Bushwacker, it's an Extra about the same size. I do like the scheme better on the Slick though. I just love Extras, they fit my style of flying better.

WoW man that sucker looks really really great. Inside structure appears to be very strong too. Man I really hope they keep the price reasonable, this could be my first real Giant Scale Airplane. I too love the looks of the 330SC models, but Im digging the 330LT as well. I was thinking of making the 108" 330LT my first giant scale, may have to rethink that now. Thanks for sharing Bloosee Have to agree with you about the scheme, it's not bad not bad at all, but I like the looks of the Typhoon and 93" Extra 330SC better. Man that Banshee really is huge for it's size isn't it. LOL

Bushwacker, I'm waiting on specs for the Extra to find out if it will fit in my vehicle without pulling off the stabs. The Extra is still in the testing stage, as you could probably figure out since it isn't for sale yet.

One thing that kind of grabs me a little is the weight. 23 to 25 lbs is pretty light for that size plane. Most planes Ive been looking at are listed as 25 to 28 lbs. That thing is probably going to float like a balloon.
