3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

I'm very optimistic. As has been mentioned 3dhs service used to be really good. The dropoff in service seems to coincide a lot with the timeline Ben shared about when they started discussing the possibility of a merger. I think both companies know how to offer good service... I am very optimistic about their future and really hoping for things to become awesome once again!

People keep talking about this being a merge.

But look at the facts 3DHS now comes under the banner of EF, this was a takeover though clearly not an aggressive one. It was agreed upon and the deal was struck.

3DHS may continue for sometime as it's name will still exist as a brand under the EF family, but as old designs get phased out and new ones come in they are more and more likely to take on some of the EF design philosophy till you get to a point that it's pointless continuing the 3DHS name it may take a number of years but I predict the 3DHS name will disappear eventually. The other brands under the EF family have a place since they make products with a different purpose but the way they've aligned the business the 3DHS and EF branded aircraft are for an identical purpose just with traditionally slightly differing design philosophy.

Easy there, a takeover has to do with buying a majority share of stock. Neither one of these companies issues stock the last I heard. A Merge is exactly what happened. The two parties saw that their interests were aligned and set up a strategy for capitalizing on economies of scale in shipping, warehousing, customer service, the success of two very strong brands bringing revenue under the same roof, eliminating any other redundancies of operating separately and setting up for more successful future operations. I see a lot of creativity in what they have done and am very interested to see how it plays out. From all appearances it looks like Ben and Chris know each other very well and share a lot of respect. This could work out really really well for both of them.

Well ALL I have to make an apology. I let my personal feelings get the best of me at o'dark 30 this morning with some of my posts. I got a great note from my friend 3dnater that pointed this out and he was right and I think a few of you were trying to point that out as well. It was unprofessional and I hope those I offended can accept my apology.

With that I truly wish them the best in this new en devour.

All is good Mike, I know this hits very close to home in a lot of ways to a lot of people, I personally didnt see anything wrong with what you were saying as I try to take in all available information from all the sources I can and make up my own mind. Nothing wrong with stating what you think is true as long as you keep an open mind and keep open to other opinions and the ability to be flexible in ones own opinion. Raising 5 kids opened my eyes to all the different ways people look at the same thing. The teenage years of my kids really taught me 1) PATIENTS, and 2) the ability to be wrong lol and I am wrong a lot of the time lol
