well,i finally got around to hooking up all 3 of my corteces (i am claiming that as the correct plural of cortex) to digital servo mode and copying bank 1 to bank 2. i am eventually going to get it setup so that bank 1 is high rates, bank 2 is low rates, and is all assigned on my a9x to the same switch as my rates so that i never have to even think about it.

I need to update mine to reflect digital servo if that isn't the default. :(

im really wishing that digital servo was the default. i know its a safety thing, but it sure seems like 90%+ of people out there use digital servos with the demon

so got a few flights in the digital servo mode, i didnt notice a difference. granted it was on a new setup and all, but i really didnt notice a distinct difference. maybe it is more subtle than anything else, but it was silky smooth :D

Flew with the cortex in my 60" laser all I can say is WOW. When I got to the field the wind was 6-10 with gust 15-20, Flew around with it off at first and was getting bumped around, turned it on and it was very smooth barley affected by the wind at all. When the others at the field saw it, well all I can say is there might be a shortage soon lol. I did play with mode 2 a little and while it was amazing how locked in it was, it was kind of boreing.I think I am going to set mode 1 to light wind and mode 2 to heavy wind if I can.

similar happenings at my field, once people see the benifit they are easily sold, I have probably sold more to my friends than on line, I only have one left in stock, should have more next week, but yellowjacketsrc also carries them

My Buddy, Chris Watkins picked one up from me at Nall. He has had extensive experience with the "other" gyros and has been putting this purchase off for a while now due to the cost.

I can't wait to get his feedback after he tries a "real" gyro:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
