GYRO What is suggestion for a starting point for gains? Mine went into a 48" Laser so I am guessing that it is going to be about the same as your Edge. I am not going to set mine up with a Hold mode, just normal and "high wind".

@HuckingHavoc
I recommend putting it on a dial or a scroller on the radio. Just find where you like it and then enter to into the radio on whatever switch you like.

I had it on my AUX3 knob but decided to take it off because I thought it would be too hard to find center (off) while flying. I like the idea though, just think it is too much workload for my skill level.

It's good to have it on the knob for adjustment in flight to find the perfect spot.

Then, put it on a switch with 0 on one side, and whatever you want for the normal mode.

Basically, your travel adjust sets the gain.

My concern about the knob is that it goes past center (0 gain) so fast that if I had a problem with the gyro it would be hard to turn it off. I can see myself trying to get it off and swapping between bank 1 & 2 repeatedly before finding 0 gain.

Your comment about setting one side to zero is a good idea. I am going to set the bank 2 side to zero on the knob so that I can turn it off fast if I need to for the gyro madien, figure out my bank 1 gain, and the set up then other side of the knob (bank 2) once I know bank 1 is working how I like it.

Huckin you must also change bank to to "Normal' mode. That way both banks will use normal gyro settings. Then you can set the overall gain for bank 1 lower or higher than bank 2 and put them on a switch for two different feels. If you put on a 3 position switch you can have low gain, high gain, and off

Copied my bank 1 to bank 2. Super easy one click deal. I am going to put the gyro on the DX8 Aux3 knob like you guys are suggesting. Thanks for all the help, I can't wait to try it out in the air!
