Bavarian Demon Cortex

My wife says mine came in the mail today! Thanks for the quick shipping! I am currently out of town for work but should be able to give it a try in a week or so!

Got home last night and opened up the box from Yellow Jackets, I can't believe how small the gyro is. I am excited to try it out!

Got some rainy days here in the midwest so I am going to install the cortex today. I see where you guys are recomending to have the controls set at max throws. I fly with tne DX8 so my max servo travel would be at 150% in the servo travel menu and 125% in the dual rate menu.

I currently fly the plane with less travel than that so that I am getting the same amount of control deflection in each direction on each surface. Should I back all of these out before calibrating and set my servo travel to 150%/125%, or should I just leave it at my current settings?

If I do change it I will have more up elevator than down and my rudder will hit the elevator.

The intent of the max throw during set up, is more to allow the cortex to move your controls to their maximum capability even if you are flying in low rates at that time. If you set it up with 125% because that is the max safe/correct/equal deflection, that will be fine.
