funflyr Hey did you get a manual with yours? A buddy of mine Torch and I are building his now and no instructions! Wish us luck!

Ya we both had built the Sbach EPP so we were pretty confident so we went for it. No real issues. I saw a few things that bothered me a bit but very small things. Over all what an improvement over the Sbach. The new motor box design is a HUGE improvement over the old style. The Cowl is really nice as well. The CF spars everywhere is another HUGE improvement. Torch will be adding pics that I took and finish up the write up he is doing over at http://www.3drcforums.com/showthread.php?2122-Aerobeez-48-quot-EPP-Extra-330 . Thanks funflyr!

I didn't get any instructions, but it's pretty straight forward to build.

I won one if these in Utah. The CA hinges seemed a little weak. I did a foamtac (welders) hinge along with the CA.

In the pictures it looks more like a balsa plane with EPP covering than a "foamie". Is that an accurate description?

yes, that is very correct description, and the one most commonly used by others when describing these types of planes.
