3DHS 70" Velox

I just flew mine for the first time today...That CG with the battery against the wing tube seems too far back after flying mine several times today and adjusting..I have the same setup as you for the most part...I`m about 1.75 forward of the wing tube ...Your gonna want that 45 degree on the elevator on high rate...I couldn`t get it to flat spin etc. without it...I had to swap to a longer control horn..As far as expo your gonna need a good bit so crank it up..I`m like 60-70% on high rates..Same for low...like 50%...I did not like my first few flights at all, but once I adjusted in it, all was good..It flys different than my 51 slick for sure..I`d set your timer for 5 min. and work from there. It easy to land so if you can just get it up and land it and start adjusting on it for your liking you`ll be good...Good luck...J

Just finished rebuilding my Velox and will be using 6S and Motrolfly 4325-380, going with the 2S instead of the BEC pro.

Anyone on here use a 2S receiver pack? if yes, were did you locate it?

Hacker A60-5x on 6s
CC Edge 100
CC bec pro
7985 servos

every time I see that color scheme, I just go "WOW"!

might want to rethink that CC edge with the 28 pole motor, they are not playing well together

I thought firmware 4.19 was the fix for that.

no, not what I have personally seen , still lacking about 20% of the power compared to older ice or ZTW

I have a ice in another plane that I can swap out.

Someone promised to buy my electrics but he changed his mind! anyway, now I am planning to upgrade my velox from
Hacker A50-16s on 6s
CC ICE 100
CC bec pro

to
Motrofly 4325-425 on 6s x 18x10; I am not sure yet I might go with 4330
CC Edge lite 130
cc bec pro

any suggestions? the first setup is extremely underpowered.

i wouldnt go with a 4330 on the velox.
