Just Do It
I had a 32" Xtra Slick and now a 33" 3DHS Extra 330 EPP and was thinking my next foamy would be the Crack Yak. No one local fly's them and I wonder if someone would break down the flying plus's and negatives of each (if there are any) of the Crack Yak, Crack Pitts, EPP Edge 540, Sbach etc. I am mostly interested in the smaller ones as if I am going 48" it will be balsa.

How are these quick turns done at 21-35 seconds in?

The Sbach and Edge are mellower but still very capable planes. The crack yak is the craziest and will be a little faster than the pitts. The crack yak is great if you just want a crazy foamy. The pitts will fly slower a little better but it is like the crack yak in slow motion bipe form, put it on 3s and it's basically a crack yak bipe version. If you have the newer Crack series Extra Slick that's the one i like out of all of them. I mainly like it because it's so precise but can still do crazy stuff too(i've been flying mine on 3s). Something about the wing loading and the way it slides through maneuvers makes the extra slick feel balsa like. I feel like it's the best foamy to get good practice for my 60'' Extra, they are all pretty sweet though.

It's also nice that the extra slick can pop top on 3s :D

I'm building the Crack Pitts for a friend and I can't wait to test it out. I am hoping to get either the Pitts or the Extra Slick for myself. I need a new beater foamy and both of them look to be great for what I want to do.

You will decide that you just need to have both. I have both of them and they are awesome. They fly so different from each other. Just a blast to fly. Lights are on the slick for night flying too. :)

I was hucking like a pro in the back yard for one battery. For the next one, I asked my wife to film me and I promptly hit a tree and broke the prop... :)

I have been flying the crack slick for the past month, i have about 100 plus flights on it and it has to be about the best EPP i have tried. I love this thing! Im about half way through finishing the pitts, plan on flying the living dog snot out of theese two this winter indoors!!!!!
