Yes, the tech aero is something like triple filtered for EM issues.

The Badger is a good product for one battery and dual inputs into the RX. I like running dual batteries so that leads me to use the Wolverine. I use 2x 2s 1300s instead of one 2600.

Great advice Matt. Personally, I only go for dual batts on 50cc and up. The chances of a modern LiPo or LiIon failing in flight under normal use seems infinitesimal, so I like the simplicity of one battery on 40cc and down.

I also look at the future use of my purchase because let's be honest, airframes are disposable in the ARF age.

The Badger is a cost effective good solution. Mine is currently in the plane my 10cc motor ended up in, a H9 Ultrastick 40 with 7 servos.

Thanks for all the great info fellas. I have another one for yas ,My buddy is selling a ar7000 7 ch receiver for $25. using a badger and tech aero will this be enough ports for the setup or do i need a ar8000 that he has as well for sale but for the money i like the 7 ch of course.I only have a DX6I at the moment but am going to upgrade as soon as i am done draining my funds on this plane.

On a 4 servo plane (5 with throttle) you'll be ok, with likely 2-3 open ports for the power input into the rx

Will I have to purchase another hs5565 for the throttle or is there a cheaper hitec Hv servo to use for throttle only and can I use a micro, mini or should I stay with a standard size?

I may be too late but I created the attached PDFs for how I setup HV servos and IBEC with Fromco switches and using the KISS method... I hope it helps...
