Usually when headers crack open or tear we like to use this stuff called "Rescue Tape" or self fusing tape for an almost permanent fix to the teflon tape peeling away. I use it on my giants and keep a roll with me just in case.

See if you can find some of this that xpress mentioned. I personally haven't seen the product before but I'm in a tiny town! :)

Excellent! Another Super Stearman. That Saito twin should do a good job pulling around your Stearman. I bought a Super Stearman that came with an OS FS-120. I didn't like the performance so I sold the FS-120 and put a DLE-30 in it (which I like very much). But here is my sales video on the FS-120. Like I said though, already sold! :D

Yes I have been following you on the other thread, I just I didn't want to clutter up that thread with a bunch of Stearman stuff lol That engine did a very good job of pulling that airplane around and sounded great!! I sold that airplane a couple of years ago after over 150 flights with that engine on it. It was a fun airplane to fly! One of the best Great Planes airplanes I have owned.

My buddy and I were trying to figure this out as well. He own an graphics and print shop that does tons of auto wraps and even semi wraps. Well we looked at all of the 3m products he prints on and they were all way way heavy. Doesn't mean they didn't find a variant but we had thought about this whole process as well. I also was thinking how cool would it be to sell an entire covering for say a wing as an example that is ready to go like a sock.... put it over the wing and then apply heat to make it shrink like shrink wrap. As you can tell my mind just doesn't stop working... it's tormenting and non stop! Ugggg LOL

The new 3dhs slic says that the graphics are printed on ultracote. I wonder if they can print on the cote before they apply the adhesive backing? Maybe you and your friend could play with his printer and some scrap monokote or ultracote and see if the ink would stick.. wraps for RC planes or custom designed coating would sell...
