Spent 3 hours at the field today......on a riding mower! I was the ONLY one there too.
All this rain we have been having is making the grass grow incredibly fast. We have a paved runway but everything else is green and looking good for the weekend. Now if the winds will just lay down a bit. They were howling pretty good today and 90 degrees to the runway.

OK, I thought I would give an example of the rain. Taken from my office looking over IH10. It is blurry from the rain hitting the window. That area flooded in less that 20 mins after the rain started on Tuesday. The sunny photo is the next day (Wednesday morning).

Never thought I'd have the opportunity to check out the real thing this closely considering they're so rare to see around here. Closest I've been to one was at an airshow at the same airport and that particular pilot landed elsewhere after his show.

Oddly I saw it buzzing around in the backcountry doing basic rolls and loops. It wasn't until me and my buddies went to go grab tacos and chill at the airport that I saw it taking off, landing shortly thereafter that I decided to go and try to get a better picture of it. The owners buddy let me inside of the gated fencing so I could check it out closer- needless to say the owner is thrilled about his new toy (riding backseat).

Looking for sme advice from the brain trust

Thinking about a next airplane.

Leaning to the EF MXS 63

Can't go too big, has to fit in a medium sized suv.

Electric suggestions, while others make ICE work, I have not

I have solid precision and 3D skills, but view myself as a pilot who always has more to learn.

Thoughts, guidance, opinions?
