I sold my trailer in march and now have decided i may need another. Im down to only 1 50cc plane but i bought a crew cab truck and the bed is really short. I found a nice new 6x12 for $2700 but geez thats alot of money to haul a toy in and that will only make me buy more planes to fill it up

Yeah, I have a crew cab F150 and it has the short 5.5ft bed. The YAK and Decathlon (And now the Edge 540) don't fit back there. The trailer is a cheaper option than another vehicle which will cost you insurance, registration and other fees.

They may not look the best, but they are very practical!! I have a Snugtop Hi-liner on my F150 supercab with a 6.5' bed. Keeps your planes safe, dry, and they wont blow out of the back while cruising down the hwy. You could even put a piece of plywood over the bed rails and make a "two/split" level bed. And no... I am closer to 1/2(60) ha

I too have a long bed truck with a canopy, I can put two large planes in the bed then put two 2x4's wrapped in foam on the canopy rails and put two or more planes on the second level and put all my tools, and wings and support equipment in and close the door and not worry about anything blowing out. I guess that's what I get for being close to 60 but boy I am still having fun!! Lol
