@pawnshopmike, if you have a quality lawn shop you can take your carb there and get a new diaphragm for less than ten bucks. I don't have any near me that are competent enough for such.

I actually have a great shop near by. I just picked up a rebuild kit there for one of my other engines. But that engine had been sitting for 3 years.
I just don't think the diaphragm would be bad after a couple months and 10 or so flights. Just don't seem right. Hoping to find a real Walbro for it.

I understand your reservations but no one really knows how long that carb has been sitting prior to you. It's an easy check, pull the four screws and see if it feel's pliable or stiff and crackly.

I just talked to Valley View. They said their Walbro will not work on the DLE 40.

So I ordered a brand new DLE carb, reed valve assembly and heat block.
