That must be hard to sand a tru-turn spinner. But if it needs to painted it needs to be done. I would leave it as is until I scratched it.
He wants it it be gloss black to match the scheme so paint it is. I'm sure the price of a 5" Tru-Turn with a lightened back plate that's cut for a three blade is just north of ridiculous. ;)

Nothing too exciting in the shop today. Just a few minor things. Finished the receiver install on my MX2. Then I set direction and end points on the servos. Also cut a small slotted hole in the top of the cowl to allow access to the high and low needles. Then I swapped out the old plug for a new one. Pretty much on hold now till the new exhaust shows up.

Actually, one of my friends ordered one from Tru-Turn with the same specs except it was anodized black and I believe the final price was right around $260. It is pretty but, I don't think I would have spent that much :)
