    Jeti DS-16 and Telemetry

I spoke to Dan at Esprit Model and he explained to me the current work around for mixing ailerons to rudder for knife edge roll coupling.

    Jeti DS-16 and Telemetry

Hey Joe, can you explain to me how to set up knife edge mixing? In my old radio, I could specify a rudder direction. However, on the DS-16 it seams as though a Rudder to Aileron mix will mix in the ailerons no matter what direction you're flying. I saw a few posts about setting up 2 mixes, one...

    Jeti DS-16 and Telemetry

You won't be disappointed. The DS-16 is amazing! It has a 3 axis gyro and accelerometer in it as well. So, you can also set it up to tell you how much of your battery you've used by simply tilting the radio in the direction you specify.

Oh yeah, that makes sense, I didn't think about that. Thanks Joe.

    Jeti DS-16 and Telemetry

After checking out Joe Smith's and Wamsy's Jeti radio at the Mid-American Fly-Low-In at Cape Girardeau, I had to have one of these. Fast forward a month and I saved up enough money to make the switch from Hitec. So far I'm very pleased but have one question. How do you guys install your MUI...

    Bowling Green Extreme 3D Fly-In, July 25-28, 2013

I'm looking forward to this event. Finally get to break in my new trailer. I guess I better start getting all my gear together.

    2nd Annual 3DHS Mid-America Fly-Low-In - June 27-30, 2013 Cape Girardeau, MO

Very well said Fred. I'd also like to personally thank Joe for putting up with all my questions and me looking over his shoulder to get some pointers. Also, big thanks to Wamsey for letting me check out his new Jeti DS-16, it was actually nice to get it in my hands. However, between you and Joe...

All I need to do is grind a little more of the cowling away, still having trouble getting it to slide over the exhaust. Other than that, she's ready.

What day are you taking your stuff to the field? I got the inside of my tailer painted yesterday and 95% of the flooring installed today. Now I just have to build the racks for the planes and I'll be set. I took Thursday off so I should be there before noon.

Extreme Flight 60" Edge 540T Assembly

Agreed. This is the best build log ever. The recommendation to use some balsa spacers to help maintain a good spinner gap while trying to align the rest of the cowl is a huge time and frustrations saver. I've never seen the trick of filling larger gaps by using baking soda and then wicking in...

    Motor Mounting Question

Cool, thanks guys, I'll try that.

    Motor Mounting Question

All four of my other 3DHS airframes, including my 51" Slick, came pre-drilled and with blind nuts already installed .

    Motor Mounting Question

Just wanted to get other suggestions on how others mount their motors on 3DHS planes that aren't pre-drilled. The reason I ask is because of a few snags that I ran into on my 58" Edge build that wasn't pre-drilled with blind nuts already installed. I drilled out the holes, no big deal there...

Help! My 3DHS 57" Extra 330SC has a warped aileron and I need advice.

WOW! Thanks for all the great advice! If I encounter the problem in the futire I'll have to give it a shot. I've done the same thing for a slight twist in a surface but never a bow. Fortunetly for me though, Noll responded to my email already and said they'll take care of it, so a new wing is on...
