    2 castle bec pros set to 8.4v, 2 x 3 cell 3300s, fromeco wolverine switch. Also have used what @TazmanianDevil used with great success.

    Agreed smaller elevator, smaller rudder, larger fin. Full length ailerons. Good mechanical geometry. Should be good.

    To the original question my setup that I have come to like, uses two castle Bec pros set at 8.4 volts using two 3 cell lipos. I have been using this setup for the last 3 years with no issues.

    3D Hinges

    Flats hinges are fine. I have used them in a few planes. You have mor surface area ,use 30 min epoxy when gluing them.
