The trick to getting these plug caps on is to use a pair of tweezers and pre-center the little clip first then (as you press down on the cap over the plug) turn the cap 90* and it should snap right on.

It is a rear dump canister. Regardless of whether it is a front or rear dump, you have to knock the backwall out. Also I don't think you could run a front dump Pro-Flow on this plane because the exhaust exit would be right were the support for the landing gear is. To see the modifications you...

I had to extend the tunnel for the Pro-Flow canister setup I have with DLE 35RA. If I had to do it again I wouldn't run a canister on this plane. Very high cost and annoying to install.

I haven't cut the cowl yet, but if you go to SupaTim's build thread, I will be opening the main air inlet (in front of the cylinder head) to the same size/shape as he did. I'm not going to add any baffling yet. My theory is that (even at idle on the ground) air is constantly being forced into...

Thanks for welcoming me! No lip is planned for now. I will keep a close watch of the engine temps and adjust as necessary. I attached a video of Vplane software so you can see. I'll do a formal build once I have everything all done and tested :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sl6E6CNncbI

Hey guys, I'm currently building a 73" competition-scheme AJ Laser as well. It had been mentioned in a prior post that not many people install a canister or pipe on this model and I can see why. I was forced to knock the back out of the tunnel and extend it to the adjacent bulkhead in order for...
