    servo balancing

Thanks for the info, definitely hoping for what I spec'd for a servo to be released from Hitec. Then I wouldn't need to look at brands which I am unsure about their CS and warranty/repair work.

    servo balancing

I didn't mean to start a brand debate. Don't get me wrong I use hitec exclusively in my planes under 50CC. The 7954 I have in a 71" slick and that is a good application for it, but being a bit over rated on spec I wouldn't throw it in my bigger 3D planes. In my 3D planes I like a speed at...

    servo balancing

Let me get this straight... on a hitec servo u could change the frequency input received to the frequency output of the servo. If so that is awesome. Don't get me wrong I have almost exclusively used hitec (love their CS), but their lack of high torque high speed has me looking elsewhere. Not...

    servo balancing

I meant to say you are still limited by the mechanical endpoint of the servo... this may not be beneficial when trying to get full throws attempting to maximize mechanical advantage. The same way using sub trim limits this. Edit: and maybe servo frequency output of a particular radio. I'll...

    servo balancing

Cheaper option with a Speky and Jeti may be their own redundant power distribution RXs. With the Jeti I used the built in servo balancer which is easy pretty nice to use. Has a lock to hold surface deflected while you use the balance function.

I think this still limits endpoints like subtrim

Thanks for the video Terry. Just set up my wings using sub trim to keep parallel to hinge line. Will redo before I do final setup to make sure I am not limiting my throw in the up direction, hopefully without sub trim.

    91" Extreme Flight Extra

Nope. See you still have nothing positive to say or contribute.

    91" Extreme Flight Extra

Went up to a event in Fairbanks and in between rain storms a buddy was able to get footage of me getting my 91" Extra's tail wet.

AKNick, mine starts pretty good in the AK Cold. ;) To be fair the engine was warm right after a fuel up in the video, but honestly just a few more flips then the summer time with the 70. http://youtu.be/s7ARIhbN7Sw

I'll give it a shot too. Looked like it had power to go higher. Ankle gyro?

+1 for the TA... Weight savings and redundancy off the twin RX batts. Many ways to skin the cat tho.

Turbo prop is nice for winding up and adding pitch. With no pitch control I bet you would have lag of a turbine. Cool for speed though.

My 14' duramax gives me 19mpg at 70, 21-22@65 and almost 25@55. Best mileage I ever got out of a truck and it is the most capable towing one I had too. Had a 03' superduty with the v10 and got 6 in town and 12 at best hwy... It hurt.

I'm 34... Comes in handy. Long bed handles most I could throw at it. I had short beds tonneau covers and this is by far the most convenient, tby far. Now I need my lift and slightly bigger tires to give the long bed a more prospective look. [
