    Resurrection Aeroworks 85cc Yak

Even with the canopy installed the frame can warp a little, at least enough to go back into alighnment. The key is to leave it bolted in place all the time with the exception of assembly/maintenance to help keep it the correct shape.

    Sunday night GSN Update

Sorry to hear the news Bart, I really enjoyed the content that was posted here by both you and others. As someone who's been "inside" the R/C industry for a number of years I know the struggles this market can provide, it is even harder when an advertiser screws you out of money that was owed to...

Nice job on the repairs! The hatch can be straightened out pretty easily, just wet the frame with some water/ammonia mix and then bolt it to the fuse with all four bolts, it will re-warp back into the correct position.

    Corvus Racer 540 100-120cc (108")

I had the Aeroplus version and absolutely loved it. It flys very similar to an edge so it's rock solid in post stall flight. If/when Mike at mile high RC gets them back in stock with the yellow/white scheme I may grab one. I've got the new Aeroplus Extra 330LT now and it too is very impressive...

    3D Aeroplus 111" Extra 330LT

Yesterday my order from JR Americas arrived! There's something so exciting about new electronics that I had to open the box up and look at ( maybe fondle is a better word?) all of these awesome new items from JR. Here's a full break down of what I'll be using: Receiver: 11 channel RG1131BPU...

The control horns are your standard fiberglass double truss horns. While I like how these horns work I hate having the raw fiberglass showing. I've painted the horns in the pad with great results but due to the cold weather here I didn't feel the paint would work out well so I decided to try...

Finally had a chance to start working on the Extra. Im waiting on an order from JR Americas with all of my servos but I wanted to at least get the horns glued in to allow plenty of time for the epoxy to fully cure before getting the servos installed. I started off by tightening the covering, I...

Where did you get the Pull-Pull exit cover? I remember seeing them years ago but I can't find them now. Mark

Run It or Send it to DA?

If it's running well I see no sense in sending it in. DA does an excellent job building these motors but sometimes a tweak or two is needed to get them to perform at your location.

The wing tips and SFG's remove with one screw! You can use the tips with or without the SFG's but it looks like you would have to run the tips to secure the SFG's, no problem here the tips look awesome on there! The SFG's are smaller than most, I think this will turn out to be a good thing, some...

The stabs are just as impressive as the wings, including the elevators! Look at those things! I'll be using one JR NX 8921 on these as well. These servos feature JR's "Slow Start" I can not think of a better use for these than on an airplane with surfaces this large! The root of the stab is...

The wheels are nice rubber that is a little soft but should do well on most runways, They also use an aluminum hub with a nylon bushing, these should last a LONG time! Here's a picture showing just how the hardware is packaged, pretty standard stuff here, it looks like all the hardware is...

The fuel tank is super nice, it comes pre-assembled as shown below as a 3 line tank. The cap is aluminum and looks to be a good seal (time will tell). I'm not sure on the capacity but it looks to be in the 30-32 oz range, PERFECT to feed that hungry DA 120 ;) There's a bunch of plywood...

    3D Aeroplus 111" Extra 330LT

Here's a couple pictures with a wing and stab on, this thing is MASSIVE! It dwarfs my Hangar 9 Extra 300, moving it around as shown in these pictures it still feels very light. Couple of small issues I have noticed so far, the factory painted both the supplied carbon spinner and carbon...

    3D Aeroplus 111" Extra 330LT

I've been keeping a close eye on Aeroplus ever sense I purchased their 100cc Corvus. The Quality of my Corvus was extremely high and in my opinion better than a lot of the "Big Name" manufacturers out there. This past June I lost the Corvus to an overheated engine in a hover and really missed...
