    Valuehobby Saber X 51

Oh yeah bothe the Sabre 35 and the Scap are a blast. I prefer the Scap by just a small margin due to it having more pitch authority. But either one is great. Cheap to operate too.

    Valuehobby Saber X 51

I had last Monday off and got in about five hours of flying. I haven't been flying much lately, between work, crappy weather, and all the soccer fields full of kids all day just not much opportunity. And of course being a little rusty cost some damage on my planes, wounded my 70" Slick, 60" EF...

    42" Vyper Bype

This looks very tempting. I need to thin the herd first though.

    For Sale, Rimfire 1.20 motor

For sale, Rimfire 1.20 motor, only three flights on it. Good for a 70" size plane, it came off a 70" Slick. Plenty of power on 6s and a Xoar 19x10 prop. I also have some batts for it cheap. $75.00 for the motor shipped and $30.00 for 6 3s 5000 mah batts shipped. These batts were in storage mode...

Discussion How are your Glacier batteries working out?

I received my replacement battery today and got a little extra surprise as well. It's a little something I've been meaning to get for a while, they tossed in one of those little cell voltage checkers at no cost to me. Now I can monitor my packs closer instead of just relying on my battery...

    Cars and planes

I have a VW Jetta Sport wagon and with the back seat folded down I can fit in my 70" Slick, 60" EF Edge, 51" Sabre-X, Skywing 48" MXS, 47" Sabre, 35" Sabre, and my 35" Scap. All except the three profile planes have the wings off. In addition I get my transmitter case, battery case, chargers, and...

Discussion How are your Glacier batteries working out?

Funny you should say this, the first time I bought GensAce batts I had 2 out of 6 batts totally lose two cells internally, HobbyPartz replaced them immediately no problems. In fact they were 3s and I exchanged them for 4s on the return and they were more than happy to let me substitute. This was...

Discussion How are your Glacier batteries working out?

I ordered 6 30c 3s 2200 mah batts a while back. When I received them one was doa, I returned it and EP Buddy promptly replaced it. Finally a couple weeks later I got my Skywing MXS and put it together so I charged the batts and went flying. When I got home one of them had a cell that read 1.25...

    Valuehobby Saber X 51

I have thought about trying two 3s 1800's but I like it the way it is now on the 4s and have the batts so I can't see wasting the money to try it. So far I haven't found a good 6s motor for a plane this size, I don't see any Motrolfly's that will work with a 14x7 prop that are suitable for the...

    Valuehobby Saber X 51

I think part of the reason why this plane seems to be catching on slowly is because of it's size. It's in between the 48" and 60" sizes and uses equipment that dosn't transfer into a large selection of planes. Basically in this size it's either the Sabre, 51" Slick, or the new 3DHS Byper. To me...

Yeah, it's weird that this thing hasn't just taken off like a wild fire. It really has become my go to plane, simply because it's so relaxing to fly. It just dosn't bite. I usually fly this plane first because it settles me so I'm more relaxed when I fly my other planes.

    Old Farts Thread 50+

Looks like I'm in as well, 58 in two weeks. If only my body felt as young as my spirit, can't have it all though.

    Sweet Skills with KE Spin

This is pretty much the way I enter a ke spin as well. With some planes it's very easy and some are a little trickier. Sometimes it's a matter of too much throttle at the beginning, or not enough momentum if the stall is too much. Other times it's the amount of rudder or elevator, it all just...

60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

I've been flying mine for almost two years now, so I'm fairly familiar with it. It's also been my favorite since day one and still remains in that spot, even though since getting it I have added the following, EF 48" MXS, ValueHobby 47" Sabre, 35" Sabre, 35" Scap, 51" Sabre-X, Telink 44"...
