Any of you guys going to Joe Nall? I’m going to try and make it…. Well I’m trying to make a box to ship my 104” in. This is quite the project with kiddos running around and working too much. I’m running out of time and considering just buying something there and flying it. I just have a dream to...

That engine is a beauty! For the wiring, I dont see any strain relief for the bundles. I would consider adding something to anchor the wire bundles on the frame closest to the inputs. I just foresee the weight of the bundles wanting to creep and pull the plugs off the pins.

Timber floats better. I have the 84" and the 120" - the TBM is better when it comes to rolling and the construction is top notch and lighter. It doesn't float like a cub with the thinner airfoil... the Timber is more cub like.

My friend owned a tripacer, managed to eat a valve and still fly home. Yup that’s a piece of valve stuck in the piston. He rebuilt the engine and has since sold the plane. Anyways, thought you’d enjoy this pic

Finally had enough of carrying this little beast around the shop, to the car, ect. So I made a cute little 2x4 rolling stand, painted it, and added some 3DPrinted cups I whistled up in CAD to keep the compressor from vibrating off. Just another win for the 3D printer because I didn’t want to...

I probably would have stuck it next to the aft seat dummy throttle behind the upholstery.
