If I crash a plane in someone's yard, they'll find out who I am when I knock on their door, introduce myself and take responsibility for any damage that this incident caused. Reasonable people don't need new FAA guidelines to legislate right and wrong. Unreasonable people aren't going to take the necessary steps to that they could be identified by a number on their aircraft. Simple as that.

So again I say's to my self........Self!......why did you vote yes??? Then I about :steamer: myself because a voice said to me.......
Because you're chicken :steamer:. I then said to my self.......F that! I'm changing my vote......So I did!
So again I say's to my self........Self!.......why did you vote no??? No voice this time.

It was really bothering me. I was putting my sense of pleasure with the models first and protecting that before what is the "needed" thing to do and that is NOTHING. Non actions will speak louder than words this time!
No need to dissect. digest, or even disembowel this lunacy. I'm going flying when I can and the time I do have in the air will be safe, peaceful, and enjoyed.:)

That is a perfect summary!

I will register eventually but plan to hold off as the AMA requested to give them time to do whatever it is they are going to try to do. No rush, we have until February 19, 2016 to register. But assuming nothing changes I will bet that the AMA, CD, and clubs will all require compliance, just like they did with FCC regulations for ham band operation.

No credit card, need to send cash, might be pennies.
The lazy government site is not yet open, it's only 8 hours and 51 minutes late. Hasn't been updated since 12/18.

Registration is open to the public viewing........so your personal info is right there for anyone to look up and know you own R/C.

You can bet any local crash/impacts.........media will search the site and potentially use your name in a news cast.

NO THANKS!

And this is no BS. Being a federal employ (military) and knowing how "consent" to the government works. By electronically signing when you register gives your "consent" to have a federal representative inspect your dwelling and personal property. You are "inviting them in ".
I doubt they will ever do it unless you happen to be profiled.
