You don't have to order a new tank if it is leaking from the cap or the fittings. Just go to your local auto parts store and get a tube of "Seal-All". Remove you cap and smear some on the seal and threads then put your cap back on. Bingo! Its fixed. This stuff works great and is fuel resistant. Growing up my Dad used "seal-all" to fix everything. Too funny to see that stuff here. The smell reminds me of my childhood (So thats whats wrong with me! :veryshocked:). LOL! Don't forget to look for pinholes in the fuel lines too. That has got me before.

It does have a pungent oder! But, the stuff works great. I discovered it when I was looking on how to reseal the cap if I ever wanted to change the klunk and fuel line. They suggested it on the Fortitude website.
I also had a leak on my gas can where I installed a Dubro filler fitting, put "Seal-All" on it and it was fixed. No more leak...

Might have to get this seal all just in case, looks pretty useful.

It's good stuff to keep around and cheap too.
Word of caution: It's sticky and can be messy if not careful. You have to work pretty quickly.
