Today is perfect here in Vegas, but can you believe school is out Last Friday, Mon, and Tue for some stupid teacher preparedness day, oh it's next Mon, and Tue as well... I asked what on earth a teacher preparedness day is, they said it's training for the teachers. Ok you go to shoot, get a degree, and are given direction from the principal daily and you need random groups of extra days off to train. Hmmmm I say get your but in gear and teach kids, not teachers. Pay them OT and train them after school, and on weekends because it's messing with my flying ;)

All kidding aside... heaven knows our school district needs training... there is a strong correlation between investment in QUALITY training and job performance... I got a master's degree in accounting but it will be several years on the job before I come close to optimal performance. We would also hope that investing in training also includes process improvement initiatives.

Of course... CCSD is like the second worst in the nation... seems like we ought to be outsourcing our training to somewhere that is doing well...

There is no amount of training that takes place in 2 days is going to fix the CCSD, to me it's just more time off for the kids. This makes them very happy! Lol

Looks like I might have a window tomorrow to get a couple flights in on the 88"edge if. Its supposed to be decent all weekend
