Its done just have not installed the ESC and the radio gear. Not bad from a thought to a ready to fly plane in a few months. On the fence with the radio gear have been a JR fan from 1979 till now. But because of there lack of a proper integration of a gyro and me getting older and the weather windier I need all the help I can get. So if JR does not show up without something very soon I will be buying a complete PowerBox system. The JR gyro has in the wind for the past couple of years but nothing.

The Fixed Wing Trinity development for JR is nearing completion, there is already the rotary wing version out in the market.

Oh jeeze. I transferred my planes from my 14SG and hardly noticed the difference. Or rather that’s the limit of my experience so far. I haven’t done a bit of programming or looking around the radio.

i believe all the top brands are good radios it just what you are used to and started with. The only reason I am looking in to PowerBox is that it is probably the best integrated system. All there sensor’s are well defined and the integration is flawless. Example temperature sensing it can handle 3 temperature probes and display them JR cannot. Also one other very handy device is there gyro they way they have integrated it. The unit can be plugged into any of there receivers with a single cable and it will work. Also there ignition switch is excellent and one feature I like that it is capable of it can pick up RPM from the ignition and feed it back to the radio, and it can do it with DA ignitions Nice feature.
