There are many options available, and they're all great.

If going electric, definitely get Motrolfly motor, they are the best.

My 72" is setup with a DLE 30 and Savöx SA-1258tg servos.

Yes, I have a 2800mah Li-Ion in mine that is good for 3x 20 minute flights.
I've had both the 74" Edge and the 72" Extra, and I prefer the Extra. Whatever you do, reinforce the wings if you buy an extra. They are too weak for aggressive tumbles and spins.

As for "the best way" I suppose one big question is do you have batteries for an electric motor already, such as a 6s5000 or two 4s4000? If so, an electric setup may cost you similarly to a gas engine. If not, a gas setup will be less expansive and give you longer flight times.

3DHS 72" Extra - there is one choice that will drive many other decisions: gas or electric? I'm gonna guess you want electric since propping a gas motor from a wheelchair is not really practical. 3DHS has a good web page that talks about the gas and electric setup options for this plane, and their recommendations are very appropriate and have met with great success.

Motor: 3DHS recommends the Hacker motor with a Castle ESC and a BEC.

The 74" Edge is setup in a similar way with similar equipment. I think one of your earlier questions was do you connect everything like the smaller electrics?
I think you are asking about the motor/ESC/BEC combination so that is what I will describe.

For a plane this size, the battery is usually connected to the ESC with a built-in BEC, or the battery is connected to a standalone ESC (OPTO) and also a BEC.
Some people even use a separate battery for the motor and the receiver/servos, in which case you do not need a separate BEC.

yea I'm going electric, I guess what i'm saying is how to set this plane up for electric. I already have a CC edge 100 and a60-7s, do I need CC bec pro? probably will use 7955tg on surfaces.

As far as set up, those.servos will be crazy good for that size. And yes run a separate battery from your motor power. I'm not sure which plane is better. I'd guy with whatever one you like the looks of better.

Thanks. I need to see someones setup to figure this out I guess. I know how to set up an electric with motor, esc, and batteries, Just unsure of how to do it an have a battery for just run servos.
