Thanks Gary for pointing us to this thread. I too would love a nice flying Laser for Real Flight that hopefully works for version 5.5 as well.
Thanks abaser

Does anyone know how to replace that crappy Yak that they have in the hover training? I have hovering down pretty good now but have not messed with torque rolls yet other than flying my Crack Yak foamy.

Honestly, I'd just learn torque rolling with a better plane without the hovering trainer that they have. I don't like the concept of their hovering trainer, because it doesn't allow for recoveries if you fall out of a torque roll/hover, which is more important than actually being proficient in a torque roll or hover, from a safety standpoint. Mess with the settings of the 3d yak for more throw, less expo, and a lighter overall weight, and just practice until you have your torque rolls nailed down. I had mine(3d yak) flying almost exactly like my 87shp, just mess with the settings and get it to your liking.

I may be wrong, but I think there's a way to adjust the size of the training ring to allow more space so you can have a little more forgiveness. I don't use it, so I'm not for sure. I practice everything in the actual Sim do to replicate real life. You can hover all day long, but if you can't get into position to hover, all that practice is for nothing.

In keeping with Snowdog's post, here's the first of my EA files. Mind you, I am no physics guy, so flight is just my interpretation of how I think they should fly. I had help on some, but my real world experience kills me in being able to make these fly realistically. Feel free to make AVs and post, or whatever.
