I think the start date above is incorrect... I saw similar information on the website which was simply copied from an earlier year but I don't believe it was fully updated. A recent email directly from the event organizer and RC FlightDeck indicate the event starts on Friday 9/9/16, NOT 9/8/16. I would hate to see someone show up at Noon on Thursday and have the event not start until Friday.
