Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!

Nice Job on the brisket! We smoked a couple small turkeys for our family gathering. I'd rather smoke chicken to be honest! For the last couple Christmas dinners we've smoked a brisket as well. Used to use fancy custom rubs and one day I decided to just cover that thing with coarse pepper & coarse salt with a dusting of garlic powder like Alaska's little sisters state does (Texas) and I'm not going to ever do anything else. Just Awesome!

Coarse black pepper and salt only. And 12 hours on the smoker……….
