"Basic Only" So Cal IMAC Event? Los Angeles

Calling on all Basic class or fist time IMAC pilots!
Looking for feedback as to holding a "basic only" one day contest in Los Angeles.
I'm interested in finding out if our club could get a limited amount of first timer and current basic class flyers to attend, before proceeding with this event.
Format would be a maximum entry of 20 pilots and follow the current IMAQ rules and format.
If there is enough interest in a contest like this, we will go ahead and proceed.

Any thoughts?

Would love to join you but the drive from NJ would be a bitch!

Good luck though, I'll be watching to see how the event goes as I'd love to hold something similar out here.
