Yeah the DA60 even without a pipe would be fine in the 92" version when it comes out.

My 73" with a DA-35 flies hauls it around as good as my 104" Slick with a DA-120, plenty of power. I like it so much better than my 71" Slick.

I'm new to this forum and just getting back into flying. I've been looking at this plane and the 71" Slick as my next plane. (I have a 3dhs 47" Extra 300 and 51" Slick) vegasking what is it that you like better than the 71" Slick?

Ok, so its been a few weeks.

 

Unfortunately, it went together really quickly!  

 

Here's what I used to set it up.  

JR731 Receiver 

JR8911 servos (way overkill, but i had them already)

Hacker A60-5S V2 (as recommended by AJ)

Castle 80HV

Castle Pro BEC

Great Planes 3" aluminum back plate spinner

APC 20X11

Thunder Power 4S 5000mah 65C (x2)

A few things to point out, the CG point in the directions is wrong.  It should be about 1" in front of the front side of the wing tube... this is about 5.25" from the LE.

I flew it Saturday at the RAMS Giant Scale Fly-in at the end of the day.  It's insane... very light flying and very locked in.

It's an amazing plane... fly's much bigger than it is.

 

very locked in in any speed and attitude.  Harriers are rock solid, upright and inverted.  It will tumble very well and waterfalls inside itself.

 

I only have 3 flights on it, but can't wait to get it back out.  This will be a winner.

 

The kit includes everything and is very complete with all good stuff.
