Ok so in my quest to have a few brand new planes ready for Monster Fest for other to try and check out I'm starting on this build and believe I should be able to have it done pretty quick.

As I unboxed everything I'm reminded of the typical @Aerobeez packaging that's super duty so not even UPwhoopS can damage their planes during shipping!

Everything looks really well built and well packaged!

Landing gear is what they show for the first step! By the way I'm following along their step by step real life build shown on their blog here: http://blog.aerobeez.com/aerobeez-38-slick-540-epp-step-by-step-build-guide/

By the way if you come across this thread and you can't see pictures don't fret... I'm on tapatalk at the moment and will fix this evening!

3DMIKE, what motor are you planning on running? I'm using the Omega 72g, it has insane power, on this little plane :)

I went with servos and motor that were donated by rcfoam.com for this build. I'll get the names and specs here in the next day or so but I believe the motor is a turnigy park 480.

I see you've selected one excellent speed control ;)

Let us know what you think of the flying characteristics! Bloosee let me fly his the other day but I was not a fan of it- most of it could have been his transmitter, totally not used to how that felt.

Totally different going from my Aurora 9X to a Jeti!

If it's anything like my 48" EPP Aerobeez sbach it will be awesome! I will be putting lights on it for this weekends Monster Fest as well!

I find that it's actually more fun than the 48" models, it comes with me every trip to the field. I'll be installing the light kit really soon.

Can't wait to see it with the Titan RC USA night flight system installed.

I just want to say Thank You @Aerobeez for making this one of the easiest planes I have every put together! The only thing that was a pain was pulling the elevator and rudder servo wire through the fuse which I think I made it harder on myself by not weighting it like I normally do! Lol. Ok so life got in the way last night and I did some more work tonight. Here's my progress:

I will make comments when I get some time!

I'm using the following products
Hitec 50A spec and yes it's overkill but I had it in hand so there ha go! I will also do a small write up and review on it.

All of the following were donated by RCFOAM.COM
Turnigy Park 480 1020kv
FLIPOWER 9g servos with CF arms all the way around.
Rhino 1750 3cell 25c batts
FOAM-TAC adhesive which has been awesome to work with. It's my first time using this brand and it's so nice!!! Drys solid and clear.
