Secret Footage of 3-D Printed Engine Baffle Process

No, no, no... the cheese needs to go on the flat side of the cracker. The salt on the puffy side is an important textural/taste component. :)

    3DHS and ExtremeFlightRC to merge?

C'mon... that wouldn't generate any page views. :)

How to win a Fly-in Raffle?

This pretty much sums up my take on it. I have a pretty good streak of winning "something" at practically every raffle, though. Hopefully I'll manage to snag one of the big 'uns, one of these days :) I'll keep playing, either way. Sometimes I buy $20 in tickets, sometimes $100, or...

Giant Scale Axel Oil anyone make the stuff?

Krytox 283 is the only oil(grease, actually) that will work properly in this application. I'll never understand how you guys put thousands of dollars into an airplane and don't blink an eye... and then you want to go and get all frugal with something as important as wheel axle grease...

    My little EDF

Yeah... if I ever see a 6s version for sale in person, I might be likely to go home with it. :) Not interested in having one drop-shipped from BFE, though.

*****Members, We would like your input on advertising banners.*****

I voted "I could care less" even though "I couldn't care less" is the far more accurate option for which I was searching :D

    Thank you Desert Aircraft.

Looking for the 'like' button that isn't tied in to Facebook :D So for now... +1!

    Which prop for DA-50

I like 23x8's on a DA50, myself. Others prefer a 22x10. If you're trying to slow it down, the 23x8 is certainly worth a shot.

Yeah, don't worry, there's usually plenty to go around :D

    Don't mind me...

I'm just going to pull up a chair and chill for awhile. Maybe do a Jager shot or two. Wanted to get in early, though, and make sure I got a good seat :) Good luck with the new site!

    Bavarian Demon Cortex

I think it may also be fairly common for people who already have "mad skillz" to shun gyros, unless they just like playing with new gadgets. I totally get that. If you're already rockin the sticks the way you want, and you learned it all without the gyro, why would you want or need one now...

    Bavarian Demon Cortex

LOL! Ok, but I don't know about having 'extensive' experience with the other ones :) The vast majority of my models haven't had gyros, but they have always interested me. I've just played around with them on a couple models, mainly with the included receiver one, but also one of the standalones...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

I have #65 in my hot little hands now. (Though I am still waiting for a muffler.) I'm not sure where this thing will end up. Probably in the nose of an Extreme Flight 74" Edge or Laser, whichever arrives first. The first couple gallons will likely be in a 78" Extra. As for the 76/85" MXS...

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

That would be very sweet, I imagine. They were 'supposed' to be shipping those things soon after Toledo, I'd thought I heard. You'll have to try one and let us see how it goes :D

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Yeah, but if you're overpowering the plane in the first place... do you really need the efficiency? I'm betting a good piped 35-40 will be flying these planes just fine on a two blade.

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Mine seems to vibrate a good bit more than I remember my last 50 vibrating, yes. Of course, on the KS pipe with the Falcon 24x10 it's also hauling a 91" Extra around like something on RealFlight. I couldn't imagine having that much power in a 76/85" MXS... and that setup might not last very long...
